Room to Read is breaking the cycle of childhood illiteracy and poverty in a single generation. Room to Read's approach to solving the illiteracy crisis not only works for all children – it works at scale. An innovative Literacy Program results in some of the strongest positive learning outcomes in the sector and is the only global literacy organization that effectively combines these three core elements: effective literacy instruction; engaging, child-friendly libraries; and quality, local language children's books. A $50 (USD) donation will unlock the science and magic of reading for a child for a year.

Book Aid International is a UK registered charity which shares the power of books and helps create a more equal world. Provide new books to 1,000 school libraries annually; support libraries with new books, reading spaces, as assist librarians reach the community; train teachers and librarians with tools they need to promote literacy; raise awareness of the pressing global need for books and to make the case for access to books for everyone, everywhere.​
